Privacy Policy

Short answer: we collect very little. If you use our contact form, we receive what you type. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies, to count visits in aggregate. Our host, GitHub Pages, keeps standard server logs. We do not sell your personal information.

Who is responsible for your data

Smart Tire Picks is a brand of Joshua Israel Ventures LLC. Joshua Israel Ventures LLC is the data controller for personal information collected through smarttirepicks.com (the “Site”). You can reach us at joshuaofisrael@gmail.com.

Information you give us: the contact form

Our contact form asks for your name, your email address, an optional phone number, and your message. When you submit it, the form is processed by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third party form service, which sends the submission to our email inbox at joshuaofisrael@gmail.com. FormSubmit handles the data under its own privacy terms.

We use what you send only to read and reply to your message, to handle corrections or partnership questions, and to keep a record of our correspondence. Please do not send payment details or sensitive documents through the form.

Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit the Site and which pages they read. It loads a small script from Cloudflare. It does not set cookies or use local storage to track you, and it gives us aggregate statistics only, such as page views, visits, referring websites, browser and device type, and country. We do not use it to identify individual visitors. Cloudflare processes this data under its own privacy policy.

Hosting: GitHub Pages server logs

The Site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc. Like most web hosts, GitHub may automatically log technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, and your browser type, for example to keep the service secure. GitHub handles this under its own privacy statement. We do not receive these logs.

Cookies

The Site itself does not set cookies. We do not currently use advertising cookies, Google Analytics, or Google AdSense.

The Site has no live affiliate links today. If we add affiliate links in the future, a retailer or affiliate network may set a cookie on your device when you click one of those links, so that a purchase can be credited to us. If we add affiliate links or advertising, we will update this policy and our Affiliate Disclosure before or when they go live.

Links to other websites

The Site links to outside websites such as public safety agencies, manufacturers and retailers. Their privacy practices are their own, so please read their policies when you visit them.

Sharing and sale of data

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with the service providers named above as needed to run the Site, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep information

We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to respond and to keep reasonable records, and then we delete them. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information you sent us by emailing joshuaofisrael@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy laws, and we will respond to requests as those laws require.

Children

The Site is meant for adult drivers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, the same as our Terms of Use.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices change. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
